The Essex County Park System is supported in part by the Essex County Parks Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Foundation was established for the purpose of promoting and enhancing the Park System.
Essex County Parks Foundation Mission
"to educate the public on the historic Essex County Park System; develop a series of fundraising activities and programs to help support the Essex County Park System; research, record and publish the historical events and achievements of the park system including preserving important documents and artifacts; and to help restore the important historic facilities and park locations for present and future use."
